We begin with a consultation to learn about a client’s vision and requirements. This will allow us to determine the scope of the project and develop a timeline and budget for approval before we begin the design.

RENDERINGS & DRAWINGS
Ideas take shape with 3D renderings and architectural drawings allowing our clients to envision their new space. At this stage, we may work in concert with the architect and consult with tradespeople and suppliers on any limitations and solutions.

APPROVALS & ORDERS
Once the construction and design plans are finalized and elements such as fixtures and furniture have been approved, we request estimates from suppliers, create a budget, and manage orders.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
During construction, the contractor oversees trades; however, TR Interiors remains in close contact to ensure the architect’s vision and our design plans stay on track. We continue to trace the progress of shipments and delivery of materials, furniture, etc.

I am starting a new project; when should I involve TR Interiors?
It is best if we are involved from the concept stage so that we can work with the architect on space planning, interior and exterior finishes, millwork, cabinetry, etc.This streamlines the process and keeps costs to a minimum. However, we may also join a project at a later stage.
I am renovating my property; can TR Interiors redesign my space?
Yes, in addition to interior design for new construction, we help clients reinvent their commercial and residential spaces.
How does TR Interiors involve clients in the design process?
The first step is a consultation. We begin by listening to clients to discover their style and space requirements. Some clients like to share images they have found on sites such as Pinterest; we gladly review these examples in the early stages of the project. Next, we create exceptionally robust and detailed digital drawings to provide a virtual view of the new space. Once any refinements are complete and the client has approved the design, TR Interiors works with the architect, contractor and tradespeople to bring the design to life.
Do you manage the work of tradespeople?
No, each construction project typically relies on a contractor to manage the work of tradespeople; however, Tara, the Creative Director, has developed an excellent rapport with tradespeople working closely with them as they implement custom-designed millwork and other features.
Do you offer individual services such as paint consultations?
Our company excels at holistic design, which means that we strive to understand clients’ preferences then develop a design that encompasses all aspects of a space. We typically are involved in a design project from planning stage rather than offering separate services such as the selection of new furniture or paint colours.
